Daytona In Minneapolis, Mn (1/26/05)

The gods must hate me because I have to spend 2 nights and 3 days in MN next week where a "heatwave" means the temps are above 0. That being said, I still try to find ways to enjoy myself on these business trips. Got business plans for Thursday night but if anyone's around Wednesday night I'd be up to a little get-together. My flight gets in @ 6pm so figure I'll get checked into the hotel in Roseville by @ 7:00pm (that is, if it's not snowing).

Anyone going to be around the Minneapolis/Roseville area on Wednesday and up for doing something? Last time I was up there, Hertz gave me an '04 Alero to drive. I'm hoping for the same this time, too.

I recommend a half-dollar this time around, a little extra thickness for good measure.

Yeah, I guess it's another lonely dinner for me. Maybe I can talk one of my associates at my print vendor into meeting with me for some grub. At least the weather's above 0 this week - must be some sort of Minnesota Heat Wave. I'm still bringing a pocketful of change, though (just to be safe). :thumbsup: I'm hoping for another Alero but if the weather ends up crappy enough I'll see if I can't talk my way into another SUV like last winter up there.

Grub? Is that a New Jersey delicacy? Do you put mayonnaise and cheddar cheese on em? Maybe if you bring some back for your bosses, they won't make you cancel your vacation this time!
