I've got the same thing, but without lowering springs...I've checked it out a few times and haven't found anything wrong, it could just be that the cabin isn't sound proofed enough, thats the conclusion I've come to.

aight if you are riding @ stock height your upper strut mounts needs to be pulled apart and greased in the bearings.. did it on my car while we were puttin the new springs in.. makes a big diff..

If you are riding lowered it may be because the springs arent "Seated" yet.. i have the same thing right now cause my car has only been lowered for like 24hrs now.. its kind of like a popping noise when making tight corners at low speeds.. it will go away tho..

I would say that your strut mount on that side is fubar. Best way to tell if that is the problem, open the hood, go to the right side and push the car down near the struts and let it jounce and rebound a couple of times and see if you can here the noise then. None the less, i would expect a popping noise from lowering but not creaking. Get your front end checked out.

That "popping" u are hearing is most likely the two bearing plates seating/un-seating themselves.
Take ur suspension back apart and I bet ya that u will have nasty grooves worn in the plates. This happened to me and Im pissed..... issed:
I just ordered all new plates and Im gonna replace them. But now Im almost positive its gonna do it again.
See....the lowering springs(I have intrax) are too short in height to compress the two bearing plates together while the car is in the air.....(on jacks)
U have to be VERY carefull that when u take the car off the jack stands that they seat propperly.
I'm 95% sure mine did when I installed them.....but as ur driving and u hit a bump or turn into some kind of incline(driveway or somethin) and one or both front springs loose tension then those bearing plates come apart.....then, when the weight of the car compresses them back down it's a gamble if those damn plates seat right again. If they arent seated right.....ever time u turn the wheel it's wearing a groove in the plate, and when turned enough it will fall back into place....thus, the "popping" noise.
I'm assuming this has happened to most everybody w/lowering springs and I wish I knew that before I bought em.

mine are EXACTLY like this....i have grooves cut into my bearing plates

so you fixed yours? did it ever come back? what you say, makes sense, i should have gotten eibachs, they dont drop as much....which is probably why the eibach guys dont get this problem.

where is the cheapest place to get new plates?

checkers can get the plates/mounts for 78, but they dont even have them in stock...
