What I want to do is either be able to retract the lilliput screen into the little cubby hole below the aftermarket head unit, or put a retractable and movable arm mount on the side of the center console so that it can be maneuvered around....any ideas on where i could find the materials or what i could do about this? its kinda hard to explain what i wanna do, the best way is think of a portable desk lamp that has those arms that have adjustable heights... (i would use one of those but theres no good mounts or anything with them)

i'm thinking metal slides from like a desk drawer, and some sort of hinge... mount the slides in the top of the cubby next to the 12v socket....

aim me later if you want more detail....

i was thinking along the same lines, but i couldnt find a spring action hinge (one that would hold the screen upright when folding it out) unless im just looking at the wrong stores....
