kid that bought my car needs a bigger alternator. 210 he said. i dont know anything about alternators really. he bought 3 12inch audiobohns for the car and is installing and he wnats a bigger alternator. any suggestions/?

Biggest you can get for the 3.4 that I know of is from mralternator.com

Pimp, you have the best rims that I have seen on the alero. Where did you order them from and what size is it?

Well, he sold the car Mike, but to answer your question, I believe Paul had 18" American Racing "Casinos".

try powermasters. they make 200 amp ones but not sure if they can do that big for us.

160amp is more than enough. get that, upgrade the wiring (search for the "BIG 3" its a popular mod to get more from your alternator) and a yellow top battery.
what kind of amp and model number? most likely he's reading the "2400 watt" label and thinking its actually 2400 watts.
he had 17's, dont know what kind

he has a yellow top battery already. i put it in the car when i still owned it. as for amp, not sure. he sent me a pic but i didnt save it. ill find out though and let u know. how powerful is the stock alternator?

some places say its 95, some say its 105....not sure
www.mralternator.com sells a 160amp, which is what he'll need, upgrade the alternator wiring, the battery's ground, and the engines ground wire........thats the "big 3" as its commonly reffered to
