I'm going today to get my new wheels and tires put on (yay!), and called to find out about the install and subsequent alignment. What I'm wondering is if this is about fair:

Wheels/tires: $17.50 per tires for mounting and balancing (roughly $70 probably to get them on there)

Alignment: $100 for a 4 wheel alignment. The guy originally quoted $60 and about an 1-1.5 hours... when I mentioned it was lowered he said it would be $100 and 2-3 hours.

So, roughly in the $200 range to have the new wheels/tires put on and get an alignment... that sound reasonable?

Thanks,
Collin

Go to Firestone and buy a lifetime alignment deal for like $120. Aleros come out of perfect alignment fairly easily (usually NOT to the point where things rattle and affects tire wear...). So if you need an alignment done on that car ever again, you wouldn't have to pay again. (It pays for itself after the second time, I remember that much)
