I replaced my gauge cluster bulbs today to red, I've been meaning to do them for a while but finally got my bulbs the other day. I didn't have a problem replacing the bulbs, made sure they were all in the plastic holders right.

So heres the thing: It looks great, all of the lights work so I know I put them back in good. However, one of my turn signals blinks yellow... It's the weirdest thing. The right signal is blinking red as it should, but left is blinking yellow. Everything else looks fine and red. I figured both signals would just be under the same bulb, so why would they blink a different color?

It's so crazy...

Thanks

they probably mixed the wrong color of led in with the red ones. you can't really change the color of an led like that.

Well they're bulbs, so I know they're all red because of the coating... I'm stumped at this point. I can do some fiddling around tomorrow and see what might be causing it, just some ideas would do me better.

Is it possible you may have left a standard bulb in there also, making it that color???

AlbinoMonkeyRat is on a distinguished road
in terms of light, red+green=yellow. the one that shows red probably has so much more red coating than the one that shows yellow.

Ok... makes sense. I didn't get a chance to look at it today, and I might not tomorrow either, but I'll test that out and switch the bulbs and see how it turns out. Since it would bug me, I'll just switch the less-red one if that happens to be the case, with something like my brights or even the light in front of the shifter. We'll see how it turns out. All of the gauges are a fine red. Tonight was the first drive with them, pitch black and I just got home. It looks great so I know it's just that one bulb. Thanks for the idea. Will keep posted
