Opinions on Kenwood?
Looking at getting a Kenwood KDC-MP635 to replace the Sony CDX-M630 that crapped put on me. Anyone have any experience with these? They seem to be nice decks and I can get one for around $160.

Isn't 22 watts RMS x4 pretty much across the board at Pioneer and Kenwood?

Decks with a USB port are really nice for hooking up Ipod shuffles or a cheap flash drive full of music, I'd look into those, too.

do you know of any where you can actually plug in a usb flash drive and the deck actually reads the text of the song? im really interested in those but i dont think the technology has caught up yet to where it needs to be. i got a 6gb flash drive and if i had a deck i want it to be able to read the songs fairly fast and for it to read the text.

Crutchfields has Kenwood and Sonys with the USB port right on the front. Take a look and read the reviews, there's a lot of good information there. I bought the one with the aux input cause I can plug in my palm pilot. The USB port would have been easier but I already have the palm with the chip.
It came with all the installation stuff to, the wire harness, chime module and instructions on how to take the dash apart. It took a little fiddling but it's a nice job on a lazy saturday afternoon. There tech support is awsome to.

Anything but sony. I've never dealt with a Panasonic before, I love Pioneers tho.

Stanl3yx,
It's a good deck. Has a 7 band EQ, but you can only adjust 2 of them in the easy mode. If you hold down the SQ button, you can adjust all 7 bands of the presets. My only complaints are the CD text is a little slow, and the face has a little bit of play in it. (Mainly when pressing buttons at the top) But for Aleros, the power memory tilt is GREAT!

Here's my Kenwood. I choose the cheapest one with an aux port on the front. Notice it on the lower right.
Simple to install with the instrucitons from Crutchfields.
