ok, i was trying to change my fog light last night and I managed to accidentally pull the purple wire out of the socket for the lightbulb. Can i fix this or do I need to buy a new light socket and splice it in?

never saw the fog light, but sounds like you may need to solder it back into place if you completely pulled the wire out of the foglight, that or buy a new one.
