Can I mount my amp to the back of the seat?
Iight guys. My amp is bolted on top of my enclosure, looks like crap. not even centered. (I got the whole setup for free so I didn't complain) I want to mount it to the back of the seat so you cant even see the wires. I want to know If I can just screw it right in or if I need to do something special before.

You can srew that amp in with drywall screws, if your not going for the professional look. Also with the heat that amps produce I wouldn't put velcro on mine, and what if you want to remove it..its a bitch to get that crap off. Just my opinion!

yea you can screw it right in to the seat. At one time I had two amps and a three way crossover screwed onto the seats. and theres pics of it on here and myspace, and photobucket the only reason both amps arent there anymore is because I was trying to run too much off of one power wire and pulled one sub out and an amp. so now I only have one amp and the three way crossover on the seat and two 12's in a box in my trunk....

I didnt hide my wires because right now I am not going for showmanship or looks I just wanted a respectable sound system. And I have that pretty much but I have soo much bass that even with the whole trunk lid dynomited it steal gets that crappy rattle and or vibrathions or knocking. Any one have ideas on how to fix that ?

i doubt i have to say this but i will cause i was retarded and was not paying attention.
Just dont mount it too high or the seat wont close and dont put everything on one side of the seat.
If I had it all to do over I would have put one amp on each seat and maybe mount the three way crossover on to the trunck floor in the middle behind the box and would have def done a better job at hiding the wires.

You can make it look good with the wires showing if you keep it organized.

I just put up a wall so I didn't care about the wires, but they aren't twisted together or anything, but I thought to myself who in the hell would I be showing my stuff to, cause I don't enter shows?
