Ok so I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm not a know-it-all when it comes to cold air intakes and all the other engine mods (slowly I'm learning). But I was just lookin at different stuff on ebay when I ran across this. I was just wondering if this is something worth spending money on or not? My car is a 01 GX 2.4L 5-speed.
Alero intake

yeah that will work. and that one right there is a ram air intake not a cold air intake, ppl on here like to call it a WAI or warm air intake. and you can do a search as to whats better some are: wai no probs with water getting to filter, better at lower rpms, easier to install. cai better at higher rpms, takes in cold air not warm. correct me if i'm wrong but thats from what i remember after reading countless posts about both and talking to ppl. and theres a video on here with someone with before and after install of wai. you probably didnt konw it was a wai b/c most ppl call it a ram air/short ram outside of aleromod

but i know for a fact it will work for the 3.4

some say the WAI helps low end , and the CAI helps mid-high end. it's a losing battle between the two, i'd say either one is better than the stock air assy. and the WAI will have a shorter travel distance for the air.
and yes, i'll install it for you, but like i said, it'll cost ya just messin...

LOL... just to clear the confusion for ya, skyler (formula) is a guy, marie (cutelilcntrygrl) is a girl. they happend to chat on yahoo for a while. then they met. they are now friends. i "float," but he doesn't... now, back to the discussion of cai v/s wai, any opinions on which would be a better option?
