My '00 LD9 Alero
So far all I've done is clear corners, painted bezels, a 75 shot wet kit, audio setup, American Racing 17" wheels, KYB Struts, and lowered it. R1 Rotors are due to arrive Monday and I'm painting the calipers this weekend. Probably will install a less ugly exhaust too, haha. Next on the list is pulling the MP45 blower kit off a dying 4dr, hopefully this month, and only for $150!
And as for the calipers; Everyone has red...think yellow would look good?

I'd paint the calipers either silver to match the metal rings around the rims, or white to match the car

Damn, nice and clean. Yellow calipers would stand out ALOT, lol personally I wouldn’t do it, I would go with black or white, considering the black and white theme you seem to have, lol

silver calipers would be perfect to stand out with the silver lip.

White caliper?! NO NO!!
I'd go with a silver or black color. Nothing else. Maybe a dark red color would do, but you'd have to have some red in your scheme, which you dont.

QFT...and this is because red is on almost every car in the form of taillights.
my vote: red or black. (OR do black brackets and red calipers.)

I plan on ditching the nitrous once I get the blower, or I'll more than likely break something on stock internals. After the blower I want to do full exhaust w/header and then secret cams. I figure that should keep me content for a bit.

yellow or red would look dumb.

Wow that's a clean car
I agree, go with Silver Calipers. Black will blend too much with the rims, which I like BTW. Red would look OK, but I think Silver is your best bet.
Yellow, ummmm.... no

Well I painted one caliper silver, but it just didn't look all that great. It dried into a semi-gloss gray and just looked like a clean factory caliper. I ended up going with dark red, which gives a nice bit of color without standing out too much. I just finished putting it all back together so I'll have to snap some pics when I get some daylight.

My buddy has dibs on it for his 'Zuki Samurai. I guess the Chrysler 5.9L motor he transplanted into it wasn't scary enough...

Lookin Good! I'd suggest looking into Meth/Water injection to keep it cool and prevent internal damage....
