got the tails sprayed today finally finished
they look different in person they almost got lighter to show more red than before they got sprayed with the topical gloss |

thanks 30$ i had the guy at my work hit them with a urithane gloss ... they feel like glass.. however it did make them lighter .. in operson they are more maroon than black when the sun is out

i used like 10 or more thin layers of nightshades and then today had a urithane gloss coat put on

easy
1. remove tails
2. clean with a little alcohol
3. apply thin coats of night shades in even swipes approx. 6- 8 inches above tail.
4. let coats dry
5. keep repeating coats till desired darkness.
6. either sand with really high grid wetsand and polish or have a urithane finish like mine...(drove around with night shades only no sanding or urithane for about 6 months it just looks "flat black")
7. put back it and admire lol

How much time did you wait between coats and for the final dry time?

about 2-3 minutes in between coats and i didnt put them back on the car till the next morning... and only two hours after the urithane clear |
