Emergency Brake Light Staying On
I went to start my Alero the other day and when I put my E brake down the "brake" light was still lit. It's been sitting for about a month and the battery has died twice. I didn't get to drive it to see if it would shut off.
Any ideas?

He's talking the ebrake so isn't that a diff light? I'd think it has something to do with the sensor down under the lever that knows when the lever is lifted

Either low fluid, ebrake is on, or pressure differs between brake circuits (aka a line is leaking or something).
You probably notice pull if the pressure differential was the case.. I agree with all of them, fluid level!

Or it could simply be the fluid level.
If your car shows the (!)(P) it was made in Canada. Or at least thats how it goes now-a-days. If its in pictures rather than words, its a Canadian built car, GM at least...
