XS Batteries
Anyone know which ones fit with only length wise tray mods if any and no major ones at that? My Alero is all stock in there looking for a replacment battery. I' am debating just a regular battery as I don't really see any benifits of putting a $400 battery if there's really no upside to it. Thoughts?

A cheaper option would be to go with northstar or odyssey batteries.

I'll do a search thanks reread the other thread still seems the normal cheap batteries are the way to go...Only differance seems to be mounting so it seems. You are the only one really with a battery that seems to make a differance but it's to big to fit in my car lol. I assume any XS that will fit will be no better than a $99 normal battery?

It would be better in terms of versatility and can handle a lot more abuse from systems, but a lot of it is paying for the name.
As a side note, I was blasting the music today and with the battery I didn't have any volt drop.

Nice I was looking at the XS kit for adding another battery to the trunk today :<).. Can you explain the hook up for a two battery system IE.. Positive normal battery to positive of the trunk battery..Negative of the Normal battery to negative of the trunk battery. Then the trunk terminals to the amps?

Yes exactly, make sure you have fuses, 12" or less from each battery. Also add a fuse between the second battery and the amps unless they have on board fuses.

The size of mine were based off the total of my amp fuse ratings. My subwoofer amp fuse is 200A, the 4 channel amp is 100A, so the fuses between would be 300A.

Meh got tired of waiting going to Pep Boys Saturday to get a standard battery. Maybe later I'll throw an XS in the trunk /shrug. Only paying $114 for it with the 21% off thing. Getting it installed because I' am lazy and not doing the felt pads and all that crap. Saves me $15 lol. I'll be changing my cables out soon anyway.
