Dome Light Removal

I need to take off my dome light in a 99 Alero GLS. There are no screws, I don't want to pull down to hard and rip it out of the cieling, I tried sliding it while pushing it up...nothing works. Is there a trick to it? All I want to do is replace the bulbs with some modded bulbs. Can anyone help me out?

you just pull it down, or of you want to just take the clear part out, there are little tabs on either side, you can stick a small screwdriver in there and pry it out.

Yeah, I just saw that, I have blue lights aiming at my back seat now . I was looking at it in the dark and did not notice those tabs.
