at first glance, your boots look ok, but they really don't even fit. why would you use these? you should at least hem the edges or something. clean them up, man.

Hey, I think they look good. Don't let some newb with only four posts tell you otherwise.

Well since I have more posts and that somehow makes a difference, they do infact look like crap. You can get red ones from MOMO that are of WAY better quality.
MOMO ebreak boot: (soo much better than the factory as you can tell by comparing it to the shift boot)

I still think they look good and don't let some post whore tell you otherwise! :P
j/k! They might look a little better if they were stitched to fit below the shift knob and e-brake handle, but they are still not bad at all.

I think redog's boots look good. Granted the top of the shifter looks a little split, but they fit nicely and just plain look nice.

hmph, it seems that there is a lot of different views on my boots.
No I didn't make them myself and I turned the tranny boot around, and had my g/f sew it up.
For those that like it,

^^^Not to mention how much all of that costs. I'm a budget shopper. I'd much rather put something like an APC shift knob and boot on my car, as long as it looks good. Hey Reddog, how did you attach the boot to the bottom of the console?

I just put in my Shifter knob / boot. I "borrowed" this guy's Idea. I got the same knob that he has, I just have a different boot. Pic quality is pretty bad. I took it with my phone.

Where is the button at on that knob??? Top center? or does the whole thing push down?

The whole thing just pushes down. It takes a minute to figure out the correct order of the pieces. And it has to be mounted In the right area, or else it will stay pushed down. and you can't get your key out of the ignition. But after you have it. I think it looks alot nicer than that ugly looking hammer headed thing.

So is this actually considered a manual shift knob that you have made work for the auto????

yeah my next goal is to find the manual plastic piece and put that in, so it truly looks like a manual until someone sees only two pedals and goes "what a dork"
question, anyone know where to get a good e brake boot? Probaly been asked a million times.
