bought alero with 120,000miles now what?

I recently bought a 1999 alero with about 118,000 miles and i was wondering if there is anything i should be looking to get done on the car as i do not know the service history of the car...I have never owned an olds before and this is my winter car so i need it to be in the best of shape so any recommended service would be great. I was also curious where i could find the recommended serivce at each interval so that i know what to do...lol thanks a million

Service history can be found with the handy VIN# in the window.

^^??? I don't know about that, or whether it would be relevant. If you were to look up my car on CARFAX, it would say that my car hasn't been service for an oil change in over a year, but that's because I've been doing it myself. I think it keeps track of things it HAD to go the shop for: bodywork, engine work, any type of job where your car had to be checked in

You can also register at http://www.mygmlink.com/ and it will bring up any service information that was done at a dealer.
