Alero Start-up
Finally caught the problem in the act, when i was originally gonna get a sound clip of my cold air intake!
The car starts, gets to about 1000 rpm, and craps out.. i -never- touch the gas pedal in this clip untill the very end of the clip, i'll get a sound clip of the cold air intake tomorrow or somethin. this only happens every 10 - 20 starts, any ideas what would cause it?

I had this problem, it was a loose battery ground. Out of nowhere it would just need 3 tries to start.

My Cavalier did that during cold nights after sitting for a while. Vacuum lines were rotten behind the throttle body. Replaced those and it started starting. I had to hold the gas and make sure it doesn't stall until I drove it for 5 minutes and then it was fine. Could really be anything at this point though.
