My Introduction
Alright, so I have had my Alero for about a month now, previously I had a Chevy Beretta but recently sold that and upgraded to the Alero. Um I belonged to a Beretta club and I pretty much disowned them you know, selling the car and all, so now I semi feel comfortable again with a group of Alero enthusiasts.
I'll post some pictures up in the Show Room soon enough, and make a Signature, now that I'm an Alero man.
I bought the car from a dealership, still under warranty, it is a 2003 GX, Silver, 69,000 kms. All stock, 2.2 Ecotec engine. Any questions just ask.
Oh and my entire family is pretty big on Oldsmobile's, my brother has a Black 2003 GX Alero, and my Dad has 1996 Oldsmobile.

haha, I have the auto, i was thinking 5 speed, with a sun roof, but the sun roof option was like an extra 1,000 bucks, i can deal with no power windows haha.
I actually live 2 hours away from you, in Saskatoon.
And oh shitty, why is everyone getting rid of the Aleros? So far I like mine very much.

Welcome aboard! A lot of folks sold theirs due to them putting too many miles on their cars, having too many problems with the 99-00 model years, or just because they're retarded (the owners, not the cars. LOL!). I sitll have my '02 GLS - custom ordered from the factory and just over 55K miles on her now.
Gotta say, I love your avatar! Who are the womens?

Haha thanks, that was a very informative post. Just two of my friends that actually tossed the camera at me and said take a picture of us posing on your car, and I was like, whhhhhat? I guess Alero's truly are attractive, or should I say attracting, I posted a little bigger one in the showcase, I dont have many pictures of my car, but I'm getting there. Get some nice summer time ones soon.

Hello everyone. Not a new alero owner but new to the forums. I have actually owned my 01 alero for about 2 1/2 years and I threw a rod in March. It has just sat the last few months as I have decided on what it's fate is going to be. After stumbling across this forum I have decieded to throw another engine in it and make it my "project" car. I only decided to do this after learning of the numerous options I have available. Thank you to everyone that has answered all of the questions in the forum as I have learned a tremendous amount about my car and it's potentials.
