Has anyone removed or blacked them out? I just got some window deflectors, and i hate how they cover up only part of the chrome

I didnt get them for the looks as much as function. I love my fresh air and when its raining, you cant have your windows cracked. Has anyone else painted the trim though?

i used this stuff from pepboys i think, thats made specifically to cover chrome trim. its a matte black finish. had it on the car for 2+ yrs now and it looks like it came that way from the factory. looks good especially since i dont have chrome anywhere else on the car.

they make matt black vinyl as well i dunno if above post is referring to something of that nature. it'll make it look painted... but it'll be way eaisier to go back to stock if needed.

its my firm belief that our roofs were made with the intent to destroy our window controls. everytime it rains, my roof leaks right down onto my arm rest (w/ my window cracked )
