Just because SOMEBODY made you made is no reason to cancel the fun you WILL have on their account. If they are going then you should go too, just to make sure that you have just AS MUCH fun as they do! I went last year not knowing ANYONE, and left there with a whole new FAMILY!
It's people, like Scott (oldsman) and his wife, momma mo (oldsman's wife), that make it possible for some people. Its people like Heineck that allow STRANGERS to room with them for free, if it wasn't for him then I would have slept in my car (and that would have been fine too. Yet, his words were, "you are rooming with me, no questions asked." This allowed me to sleep in a bed and to also gain a new friend (buddy, sorry al I know you hate that. lol).

I will tell you my story NOW that it is over and done with. Last year I went through a crap load of stuff, just getting used to being a father, school, work, MY parents, my wifes constant nagging, and a hell of ALOT more. When I got there it was nothing but Grade A fun. Well when time came to get home, I checked my cash stash in the car and I believe I only had like 17 bucks to my name, in a state 700 miles away from my house.
Momma mo AND scott, said this was unacceptable and was NOT going to let me go without having gas money. They made sure that I had 120 dollars to get home.

So if you wanna start talking about its people like you, or that, or that person....then lets be real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (these are ONLY my acounts with people, AFTER I met them at ASS 09)

It's people like oldsman and his wife that allow everyone a GREAT time, and to make sure that they get home SAFELY!
It's people like heineck that allow complete STRANGERS to have a bed to sleep in!
It's people like bdyman, that make sure you know what you are doing before attempting anything!
It's people like cherry, that is loaded with electronics information that is willing to share!
It's people like Ionc2, that will bend over backwards to answer stupid questions about alarms till the wee-hours of the morning.

As you can see the list goes on and on....DONT make the mistake of calling someone out unless you are MORE THAN WILLING to be called out yourself.

Nope, sorry still don't. The thing is when you tell SO MANY people different stories about why you didnt come to ASS last year it's kind of hard to believe you. I was told AFTER meeting other caravaners that you were not going because your mother went to the hospital the night before and that was the reason you couldn't make it. The day before was some different and the day before that was something different too. See where I am going with this???? If you say you are going then GO, if you are not going then say so or dont say anything.

When you start with the whole, I am going and start taking things upon yourself (like the PMs to the people saying they are going but not YET registered) then it gets a little akward. Honestly I believe that I would have seniority over you in that aspect as to where I have been to an Aleromod function. And then a month later did it again crossing many more states, the summer meet.
I will tell you like I tell everybody else, "QUIT making excuses for why you can't and find and ANSWER for how you CAN!"

Okay, so you are NOT going because somebody said something. In that case the you ARE a kitty, and I will call that to your face. Sorry, but that is the way I am!

The same said person said something to me about me coming on here and not posting through PM and I, let me re-itterate that, IIIIIIIIIIIIIII took the wrong way and called him out through PM. Then I turned around and sent a nasty gram to Scott, and was told what had happened and also the INTENDED approach.
I have not personally spoke with the person about it, but in time will and at the same time, am NOT afraid to do things because of this person.

So now we know that you are not going due to receiving an infraction. Do you STOP driving because a cop gave you a speeding ticket?

Thank you Smurf! Yes, LOL... However we are not going to fund the entire trip for everyone...!!! LOL! Scot and I do as much as we can. Understand that their is a mutual respect with everyone and Scot and I have never been screwed by anyone we have helped, this is why we continue to do this show and enjoy putting it on.

Look everyone, thinking about this too much!

Scot and I put on this show because we love to, it is nice clean wholesome fun. As I have said many times and I will continue to say it, this weekend is about getting together with new and old friends alike, sharing in one common interest.

We are come from different walks of life and different styles. We have never had anyone that came and that wanted to be there, not want to come back.

We all talk shit from time to time, but on this forum there are a lot of people that know their shit and some that don't. If you don't, ask questions, people have more respect for you than pretending you do.

This is what I love about this forum=-------- DONT TRY TO BE SOMEONE YOUR NOT. This community is not about everyone knowing everything, it is about a lot teaching even more.

Scot is called "Old" because Silent figured because he was married and had children he had to be 40 something, this is not true and if he would have gotten all upset, A.S.S would never have happen. Everyone needs to learn a little of respect for everyone else, everyone doesn't have to agree with what you say but you should as a grown adult be able to deal with criticism or words from someone that doesn't really know you.

You will notice that Smurf, could have a completely different opinion of us then he does. However, he knows us beyond this monitor and keyboard which is how you will truly understand who and what people are about.

If you don't come and meet people that is fine, but you need to be able to handle the internet and maturely. It's kind of like, if you don't vote, don't bitch.

Sir, I congratulate you for coming to your senses and realizing this.

Your doing the right thing man by not letting other people's actions get to ya by continuing to come just to have a good time. That's all this show is really about anyway getting Alero owners and enthusiasts together to have a good time regardless of any differences there may be.
