HVAC issues
when I pulled the trim plate off to install a new stereo I pulled it a bit to far and a vaccuum hose came loose, now it doesnt change temperate but the fan blows and there are no lights on the HVAC and selectors dont work, does it have to go to a shop or is it a simple fix?

Reconnect that vacuum hose, that's what runs the different settings for your HVAC. If there's a malfunction it defaults to defrost, which runs your a/c compressor, so you'll wear it out faster, plus lose mileage/power. As for the lights you obviously disconnected/broke a wire as well, so you'll have to track that down and fix it.

thanks, the vac hose never came all the way off it just loosened up enough to lose pressure, I put it back on tight...I checked all fuses and they were still good, so I guess tomorow I'm chasing wires...

Well that could be a clogged heater core too, try flushing it. If you don't know how I can write a little how to, although there won't be any pictures.
