As the title says my engine is dead... A mechanic at a shop sayd the main crankshaft
(i believe that's how it's called) is effed up. (he said i need to take the whole engine out, part it out try fixing whats effed up and then put everything back in one piece).
|||| I have a horible ticking sound in the engine, and as the rpm goes up the noise becomes louder and the engine stubles harder and harder... Because i'm in lithuania rebuilding the old engine cost's horrible money, so now i'm looking for an engine, with lower miles as posible. While browsing the internet i came accross with this:

So now i want to ask you all qestion. is it a good choise or i should search for something else? it's the quad engine so what mods i'll have to do to maike it work insted of my stock 2.4l ?
another option i found was to order a new engine from GM (
i don't care if it costs me 2800$ for the engine and about 600$ for shipping IM NOT SELLING MY BABY!!). What do you guys think?
Please help me ppl i'm in desperate need of help... I don't know what to do.. maybe someone knows where to look for a angine? please give me links... any help is apretiated... I count on you guys!!! I'm waiting for your posts....
