My name is Charlie. Im from Kamloops BC. I own a 2000 Alero which I bought for the wifey after our Blazer was written off (which I got because my Skyline got written off
). I found this site in search of some answers for my now broken Alero. Started making an odd ticking, very intermittent. Then soon after lost all power and started making a bottom end knocking. The car will idle, and rev. The knocking is very muffled, yet loud. The car now has 202,000km, so I am contemplating finding a motor, getting it running, and selling it. I've owned enough GM's to know that 200,000kms + problems = time to sell. I'll post pictures when I get home.
