No setup requires backpressure. Backpressure is the last thing you want in any exhaust system, whether it's a naturally aspirated 1.5L Honda Fit or a twin turbo 7.0L LS7 from a ZO6.

On the N/A setup you'll want to keep the pipe diameter the right size to keep high exhaust velocity. On the turbo setup...as big as you can fit. Supercharged...somewhere in between.
