I'm also looking at this from a tech inspection position. Which means you have to do more than just tie that battery down to be legit for the track.
The cool idea would be to get a smaller sized battery and hide it in your fender.

and yes from a drag racing standpoint with a rear mounted battery at an NHRA track you must have a visible external shut off switch for your battery.
