Struts?

Hey team,

The other night I was searching the crap out of the forums for information about a front end clunky-rattle type sound that my ho has been producing lately...since the end of winter, I've noticed a slight pulse in my brakes, and I'm convinced it's due to a warped rotor on the drivers side...no problem...easy fix...but with the brake pulsation, I get the clunky sound now too...somewhere in here I read something about pushing down on the front of the car with the hood up to see if there's any movement where the struts are connected...and sure enough there is a bit of movement on the drivers side...I just can't remember if there's supposed to be a bit of movement there or not, and if not, can I just take a socket wrench to it and tighten it up?
I hate posting on stuff that's been covered, but for the life of me I can't find the thread where I was reading this stuff, and it's making me crazy.
Any ideas? Thanks!
