Trac off

I installed an intake off ebay.
i plugged in the vacuum line that went from the valve cover to the intake ( this doesnt really do anything so i know this isnt it)
then i plugged in the little black wire that goes from right near the fuel line to the intake.
BUT then there was maybe a sensor? that was plugged inside of my old plastic intake, but I did not put that into the new intake. (there was a hole for it but the other half to where i plug it into was left in the plastic intake)

Anyway i turn on the car and its fine. Then i take it for a drive and max out the rpm to hear the intake. A few seconds later my trac off light goes on and my shifts are really hard.

I have the 2.2 eco auto

Any ideas?
