What type of headers?

Are the best for the Ecotec? I'm debating between a 4-2-1 set up or a 4-1 set up. My goal is to get more power in general as well as having a mean exhaust note.

I would like to keep having power around the 3500-4000 rpm mark, which is usually where the Ecotec starts losing power, but I would also like to enhance the low end torque.

Which one works for me? I know that 4-2-1 is better for low end torque and 4-1 is good for top power, but what happens to the other side of things?

All help is appreciated.
