I have a question On Aerodynamics
Now i was working at my father's repair shop a few days ago and i got an Idea from doing an oil change on a Chrysler 300.
I noticed that when doing the oil change that the car had plastic underneath the engine bay and it looked like it was to help improve aerodynamics underneath the car.
Would it be possible to do that for the Alero/Grand Am to help reduce aerodynamic drag underneath the vehicle ?

well. lets see.. i was just trying to see if maybe could possible to protect the engine bay from road debris, and also possible improve aerodynamics as a whole for well... the slight possibillities of improved fuel mileage.... plus.... i hate dirty engine bays lol

airflow to the engine bay (cooling) is more important than worrying about your engine getting dirty

dont some cars have a complete piece of like, fiber under the car to protect the oil pan and stuff?
if the alero does not have it it probably should not be there!

a panel under the engine sounds more like a pain in the ass than anything else. you'd be taking the damn thing off pretty much everytime you work on the motor because chance are good that you will drop a nut, bolt, socket, wrench, etc down there.

they lost a lot of change in the car...so they are shaking it all out. lol
some ferraris and Lambos have aerodynamic parts underneath. I think the Enzo even has the rear spoiler under there so it doesn't ruin the body lines.
