Dash mat
Has anyone purchased one of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=150302453641 My dash is wrinkled and this came to mind. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions. I've never been a fan of dash mats but it's got to be better than the wrinkles.

A lot of people have gotten them to cover up their "ugly" dashes from the heat and such. You're gonna get a mehhhhhhhhhhh for a lot of answers. It's really up to you whether you would rather see it or wrinkles everyday. I wouldn't mind using one if I needed to.

Comes with glue and it shows you where to put it so it's not oozing out.
Install and put a hell of a lot of weight on it for 36 to 48 hours when it's warm out (around 65* or higher)

Thanks for the pics. Is yours made from ABS? All I am finding is ABS dash caps and they are all made in the USA, so I would assume they are all made by the same company.
I found one here for $99 http://www.americandashcaps.com/1999...alero-dash-cap

Whatever the material is it looks good and if what he says is true that is damn good after taking the sun beating the east coast has seen in recent years.

Do you think the airbag cover won't clear the dash cap?

Only buy from this guy, this is the guy I bought mine off of.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dash-...item20b853bbee
The cap is made of plastic. When I installed it I had to tilt the wheel all the way down and undo my gauge pod to fit it in place. After 5 years to only problem I have with it is the vinal under it is still peeling and it's pushing the cap up a little bit in one spot. The directions said not to take off the orginal material on the dash, but I should have cut the curling up part
I'll take new pics tomorrow

I don't see what the issue would be if you DID pull up the material before you put the cap on...

The picture on ebay shows that the dash cap kinda cuts off at the bottom so it doesn't cover the lower part. How does the lower part look on yours Redog? Is there a seam where the dash cap ends on the lower part?
