yeah not saying anything technical here
i've ran philip bluevision, standard oem halogens, sylvania silverstars, PIAA Extreme white plus, and now gave these a whirl.
Overall I'd still say the PIAA light up the road better, a bit better than the silverstars did, but not worth the price.
Halo's look bright close up, but as far as road driving and visibility they don't even compare, PIAA lights up the road better hands down.
When I changed from the silverstar to PIAA I wasn't too impressed, personally I noted a small change but nothing drastic enough to justify the pricetag.
So it's still basically go projectors and HID or go home hehe

and on another note, in MOST U.S. cars i would say DONT use a e-code (euro) bulb, because most U.S headlight housings are not e-code certified, but since there are aleros in europe and someone recently said that the alero has e-code cert, i dont think you'd have too many glare problems.
and most the bulbs rated there are from europe, because the e-code standards for beam patterns allow for brighters lights with less glare.
my e-codes on my gti have a cutoff that could be easily mistaken for a projector, they're awesome

Yep, I was looking at the headlights and noticed the E-Code certification. Our headlights are made in England too. They actually are a good headlight compared a lot of the junk we get in the US. They cope with the HIDs extremely well too.

Ya got me, I just looked at mine and they said they were made in england, and also stamped (E11) for it's certification in england as well. I would particularly look for the (E11) marking.
