And that has to do with this conversation about the 2.4L Twin Cam how? Pistons don't melt due to horsepower output, they melt from running lean, overheated.

for sure,i said it like that to compare,i saw some ecos running their engine at 400 with stock internal!

My bro pulled his 350 out of his suburban, and had a rebuild done for 1200. The reinstall sucked though, he said he will pay a shop to do it next time. The damn shops are bending you over. Good luck shopping.

Thx man..the build cost me about a G...parts was around 1600 including the cams...there is a link the thread where i got my parts from...it was 2.4 engine performance kit...but ION compiled a list with all the parts you would need for a build as well

yeah ION sent me that, and all of this was only 1600? Where in the world did you buys all your parts from?
BTW PM is enabled now, I don't know why I had it off.

when I had put my headers on..i had lost some of my low end torque...well i got it back now and then some . You can feel on tap slowly pulling away. i also have more mid range power....the mp45 didnt do to well pulling at a higher rpm but now i have some good passing power at higher speeds especially when the tranny downshift...it pulls....when I tune it i definitely gonna have to remove the speed limiter...cause it gets up there more quickly now
