Mine finally SHIPPED 18 days after ordering them. You'd think we'd get a shipping refund for that, eh?

Just installed them last night
The lighting is great, definitely figuring out a projector in the near future though.

I must of missed it, but where did you get the DDM HIDS, and how much where they? Weazel's HIDS look a little blue for my taste, so I would probably be more satisfied with a 6000 or 5000??

Probably the 6500k, they should be really white with a little bit of blue. That or the 5000k's which I believe are pure white. Part of me still wishes I stuck with the 6500k order, but I'm quite happy with what I've got.
Oh, and http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p...=101&parent=85. I bought the slims so they were $65 shipped.

Yea, cell phone pic with the settings on low.
Also, the passenger side looks brighter because it's a new headlight and it's aimed too high (I'm waiting for my new header panel to arrive)
Narsty looking broken license plate

Hi, our european cars dont have the DRL`s.
But as you already know we have some other kind of headlight.
The problem is with these HID kits -- keeping a good cut off line. So the cops or TÜV wont pull us over and confiscate our cars.
If your search a bit around, I`ve had a thread that discussed the various HID lights and their effectiveness.
If you want further info PM me. Its a lot easier to discuss this in German

Huh? Either I'm blind, or there aren't any pictures of 10,000k lights in this thread. Also, the light on the road is pretty white, head on though they look blue...er...

Personally, I went 8,000k instead of the pure white because after ~20 minutes of driving, yellow or white lights give me insane migraines. 10,000k is going to suck for visibility, just to let you know ahead of time.

@XanderWiFi
Best visability is achieved with the color temp. of the OEM's --> 4600K to around 5000K
That would look like stock, and if you pay attention to your adjustment you'll probably wont get pulled over.

ah...thanks for the info. So HID are only really good for the look then eh? And I suppose once I put mine in I should aim them a little lower?
