I like the door inserts but the blue is kinda bright. It's your car do whatever you want to do to it...if you want to paint it pink with purple polka dots go ahead.
I think I know what performance wipers are and I think I got some too...I replaced my wipers Friday and the difference is...the don't squeak like my wal-mart wipers did :P So does that count as performance??

Don't worry about what everyone else says. If you like what you're doing, then keep it up!
Personally, I think the black/blue contrast is very nice, but the pic makes the blue look almost like powder blue. The same thing happened with Marc's interior shots... in person the blue is really nice but the camera flash makes it look too light. Is that what happened with your pics, or is the blue really that light colored?
Like everyone else, I agree about the seat covers and the rims. Toss a set of chrome or gunmetal rims on there and get a drop... and it will look much better.

The difference between your normal wipers and the ones I have is they hold to the window better. In my case I do A LOT of highway driving here in the US and up north in Canada in the winter and back and forth between the two. So you guys can say what you want they work 10 times better at high speeds then your normal every day wipers do.
About the rims temp fix people. Guess that’s what happens when you scan and only read half of what was said lol. Reason for them is I hit a pot hole at 60 MPH and damaged 2 of my stock rims. I did not feel like putting 400.00+ back into what was stock so I bought a set up used rims for 150.00. This way I have more money to save towards something a lot nicer.
Tell me what makes more since
Buy two stock rims pay over 400.00 + install
Sell the two good stock rims and the 2 bad ones and put 650.00 into a rims fund that I can use in a month or two.
Everything I do I have a fund bin for.
Supercharger
paint job
body work
interior IE seats wheel and so on
and so on
For someone 4 months into a car project with 0 funds to start I'm doing just fine. Funny how fast people over look the avg Joes income and what a college loan can do to someone. Sure would have loved to put this years and last tuition toward my alero.
But hell I’m out of here going to look at other posts on the forum. You guys can say what ever you want to say but when I’m done with my ride and I catch you guys telling me it looks great in the end I well remind you of the poop you guys said when I started. For those of you who gave some support thanks.
Admin I think it best to just lock this topic up. Might get out of hand in the future. Thanks

Adam, you know what I say? Opinions are like ahoes, everybody has one and sometimes they stink. From what you just said about the funds, I think you're doing a great job. I think that everyone needs to cut him some slack, he's doing his car how he wants it and that should be respected. If you've read any of his other posts, you'll see that he is very eager to learn more about what he can do. That should be respected. And the bashing peoples cars/mods, isn't that in the forum rules somewhere?? I'm not playing sides or anything, just being considerate as everyone else should be.

Were not getting outta hand, its just personal opinions. The windshield wiper thing just...yea lol
but otherwise we all had to start somewhere, hell Ive been where your at so dont think were looking down on ya or talking poop. Consider it motivated guidance. The seats yea they have to go and mostly anything you can buy from autozone to, but the painting the interior isnt bad but ya wanna use dye if its a perminant thing because the paint will crack and lift I guarantee it.
You can get dye from online stores and not have to goto canada for it.

The flash really made the blue bright. It's a lot darker in person. I well take a daytime photo without flash sometime and post it.
About the paint I learned that after. Primed everything. The dyes online are like 14.00 a can. I could get a can in Canada for 7.95 and I was going up there for a few days. Why not. Ended up staying here in VA and painting while everyone cleared the house.
