Thanks. That was like my very first photoshop. I did that and it was the pic on the very first aleromod.com homepage. It was also the hood that the owner of Aleroboard.com was supposed to produce for me and 2ndAlero, but we both got ripped off
I think that hood would be killer on an Alero.

I have a couple pics of the 442 from when i was at the indy 500 way back when...
|
search for a 442 thread started by me..........i am in the middle of trying to fabricate a 442 hood........there are quite a few decent pics in that thread.........

i like the offset but please tell me that the scoop you make will not be so square i hope that you are going to round it out a tad, other than that i cant wait to see it finished.

Ok here is the bascie idea for the 442 look i shade it gray to get the shape of what it will look like. It is 4" from the side of the hood, 7" from the center and 3" from the font and it is 33" long and will flow in to the back of the hood. The opening will be 1", 1 1/2" or 2" wont know till i mock it up.
I used a grease pen to get the measurements and write them on the good hood.

that WS6 hood scoop looks like ass on our car.
i actually like the layout and style of the intrigue 442 beeter than the alero 442 hood. the intrigue hood stays true the original W-25 hood

the only part of body kit on the alero 442 is the aurora front bumper with 1970 442 grilles

The other thing I might do when I paint it is have Alero and 442 ghosted in on the scoops. Not 100% sure on that.

is there a generic hood scoop you can get in this design and mold in? I like this style and would put it in if i had the scoop.
