the intake isn't even connected through the hood. the hood is open, but isn't connected directly to anything.

huh? i know that....i think the topic starter meant he wants the hood that's got the 2 scoops in it...not the actual "ram air"

hehe...ok.

topic starter: just buy a really cheap GA. If you can find one with good panels (ie, not dented or broken) for under $4k, you're ahead in that game. The GA hood won't fit unless all the surrounding parts are compatible. (fenders, headlights, bumper, and mount panel are necessary)

I was referring to the hood and I knew that you put the Grand AM ram air in the alero. But I was thinking more a long the lines of making the Ram Air hood functional. It would look completely sick just to have the hood I think and if it was functional even better.
