yes, you can use the wiring to the center cubby, as the power for floor lighting.
its how most of us have done it.

thanks cherry, i figured you would know, is there a way to make the dimmer come on during the day so i can position the leds or do i need to wait till night to position them

push the dimmer all the way up, it'll kick on.
just remember to push it back down

ok i just drove home from my grandmas dark garage in her car to ask and i thimk pop might have figured it out,
both wires going to the cubby light are positive??????????
so i need to use a wire like the black on the cigarette thing

got it, its amazing, the glow that is, dont get these lights though the wires are crap, ill post back if any quit
