i agree with both sides of the unique argument. If you want a decently quick car work with what you have, but if you are after shit scary fast id do what raychael is doing. If i didnt have a hook up on the turbo for mine. Oh and firehawk hood ftw!! That would seal the deal for me.

besides, I think an Alero can be quite fast... Well maybe not as fast as sport cars (I dont think u should even compare it to sport cars) people compare it to but in the class of regular family sedans (and coupes) i'm sure it's pretty fast.
It's like here people go for shitty toyota, subaru and honda family sedans thinking they r fast and mod them (illegally).
I bet they don't even have an idea on how does an Alero feels and drive like.
Now with what i wrote i'm not trying to tell raychael to keep the Alero, if u really like that T/A and u want a sport car then go for it.

wow im shocked your insurance rates are that high...check progressive by chance? they seem to have some good going rates.... hell i bought a 96 mustang cobra SVT and for full coverage with deductibles of $500 on collision and comprehensive, my 6 month quote was only $780. i dropped it to $1000 comprehensive and collision and the 6 month quote was $680.
definetely shop around all the companies cause there are many factors, some of them only want accidents/tickets that are 36 months old, others want 5 years old.

yeah, I checked progressive. They were high too. I'm looking at an average of $310-$327 a month. That's if I'm on my own insurance, living on my own, and that's my daily driver car. If I'm under my parents insurance, still living at home and it's listed as a part time driver car, it drops to $197 a month. So I don't know what I want to do. This is my first time doing all this by myself so I guess I'll find out how hairy in can get! |
