lol that's why you're on an alero forum and not a mazda forum
i personally don't hate either car, the alero's are a great car and for what you pay for em they can't be beat... the mazdas got it's own strengths and weaknesses and that's why there's more than one model of car... it's all about what you like
in response to alon, it's the exact opposite here in north america, and mostly in canada. Here you drive down 6 blocks and you've seen atleast 6-7 aleros but maybe 1 mazda 3. It's an interesting shift... i think part of the reason we have so many aleros in SK is because as my car dealer neighbour said "they're a cash cow" you buy em for $5000-$6000 and sell em for $8000-$9000 b/c people fall in love with all the luxury features... where as you buy a cavalier for the same price and sell it for $6000-$7000 because they don't have the luxury to em

hmmmm...projectors in an Alero....might look good..does anyone know where I might find a pic of a car with them (i know there is only a couple cars out there) or anyone know how one would go about making them?
Also to all the people who think that blinding an oncomeing driver is ok or whatever......eff you! When you blind someone at night it is not a very good thing and the oncoming driver can't see beyond you car. With my old Alero I hit a deer because some ahole didn't dim his highs and I couldn't see the deer on the road untill I was past him but by that time it was too late.

I think alot of the people on here are making custom kits. But I don't think they're that hard to do if you take apart the lamp housing yourself.
Sorry to hear bout crashing your Alero. We've lost a few vehicles in the family because of ass holes that don't dim their lights. Just ignore Gr1m he doesn't know what he's talking about, I think he missed his afternoon nap and burping.

I know of one car off the top of my head that comes factory with HIDs without projecters, the Acura CSX with premium package (only available in Canada).

Ahh okay, perhaps I was wrong then. Unless those are just ones that immitate the HID look. I"ll look in to it a bit more on my break.
Exit9Alero did you want a picture of 6000K HIDs? That's what I just put in my car last week and they work amazing

one thing i'm not sure about with the aleros is the highbeam DRLs if they use less power or it's a pulsing signal... if it's a pulsing signal HIDs will be a bitch to install

They use a resistor.
