OK this answered my question

Ordered mine over 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten them yet

Are they difficult to install? I'm hoping they're more plug and play than anything else.

Nope, they plug right in. 880 bulb is a straight base, where the stock 894 bulb has a 90 degree base.

I wouldn't mind taking a gander at your set up. Your handle seems familiar, did you post on the grand prix site?

OK So how exactly did everybody hook them up?

I understand the HID to the ballast, but hooking them up to a battery?

I got my 5000K 9006 today and the 6000K 880's and 9005 are leaving Cali as I type

I've never dealt with HIDs before but i've been told if you can't understand how to hook them up then you shouldn't be able to operate anything else. The battery has nothing to do with the kit. Its plug and play.

I like to be sure

Look at the past posts like I did

I don't see how it's plug and play

lol.... what you do is the plug that goes to our stock bulb, you push two tabs in there, unless it comes as a female plug already. That power the ballats and has its own two connectors that goes to the new bulb.

Remember Redog your not touching the plug that goes to the headlight, but the headlight has two internal plugs, low and high.

^^ Yeah that's the way I thought it would go, but the directions say that you are to hook it up to the battery which makes no sense whatsoever.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Looks pretty straight forward, if I get out of court and fix mom's car early enough tomorrow, I'll try to put them in

In, total time 20 minutes.

I still have to touch it up though. I didn't have a box cutter to open for the hardness and where is everybody mounting the ballest at? Mine are not mounted right now just there right behind the bumper in the middle. I want to get an idea of where guys are putting their ballest at
