Just how much can we transfer from the GAGT over to the Alero? Is it just body panels and suspention,or exhaust and performance parts? Please help!!!! Trying to put together a plan for mods or at least get a good thing going here.

yea, the GA tranny also has a taller gear ratio. forgot about that. 3.29 final drive.

fenders and hood won't work either. Interior wise the seats will work, maybe the door panels to. Though if you strip all of the Alero dash, console and carpet down to the bare metal, I'm sure you could get the GA dash, console and carpet to fit. But yeah, exhaust, engine, transmission, suspension, wheels, brakes, glass, mirrors side paneling/ribs, doors, parts will change over.

i'm not positive, but if you changed the fenders headlights and hood, i think it'd all fit. but you'd have to look how the headlights mount to be sure.

but who would want that? the grand am front end is ugly.

now a GA swapping to alero stuff i could understand.

My buddy's G/F has got an 03' GaGT......I wouldn't mind swapping in a set of the GA seats ( with the holes in the headrests ) and the dual-post mirrors, but Pontiac can keep the rest of the car......

3.4

ONLY ran 1/8th mile, 9.89 is my best, car runs ~10 flat consistently, at a little over 500 feet above sea level, not sure what that'd be altitude adjusted. oh, and i'm running no backpressure (not good i know), CAI, and ~25lb 18" rims

grand am sheet metal will work on our cars, bumpers too and door cladding but you have to switch over every thing front and rear re-bars up front head light mounting panel re-bar hood hinges and it will bolt right up
deck lid will fit tail lights will fit i have done a conversion like this for a friend of mine and it bolts right up
