Belt pulley squeal

I just put a new (used) 3400 in a 99' Alero

Something with the belts and pulleys has a problem; it doesn't just squeal, it shrieks.

It seems to be coming from the power steering pump, but the same power steering pump didn't squeal on the old engine.

-Belt dressing only fixes the problem for 5-10 minutes
-the same belt and PS pump were on the old engine and they didn't squeal
-all the pulleys appear to be lined up
-no codes thrown, everything works
-new upper idler pulley

Any ideas?

105k on the vehicle. The thing is, the belt didn't squeal on the old engine.

The tension on the belt also seems to be good.

buy some belt squeal stop that comes in a can. my buddy had the same problem on his Sunbird Z24 and he just held a bar of soap under the belt until it stopped. he did it everyday.

Yeah I used the belt dressing. It only works for a while. As of now it has quieted down a little. I think I'm just going to drive it and see what happens.
