i was thinking about painting the reflector part of the tail lights around the bulbs and then tint heavily over that....

You'll probably get pulled over multiple times if you paint over your reflectors.

I would say get the oldsmobile emblem covers from alerostyle.com but they cover up the reflectors also.

Don't paint your tails it looks stupid. Just like everybody pin striping their tails it's just dumb and cheap looking.

I wouldn't even do that. The tails are one of the most distinguishing features on these cars. They're not like any other car out there. It's your car do what you want but I wou;d never do anything with them.

dont listen to stupid one minded people. Painting your tails can be a way to seperate yourself from other aleros if you do it right. Just do what you want and be creative.

Tint them. They look great. I just did mine and it looks good. I just need to clear coat them and I am set. Just make sure you dont mess up on them and have to start over, which I did, but it looks good, especially on a black car. Good luck if you try. VHT night shades is good stuff. I have a link to get it for $8.95 a can if you want it. Good luck
