by all standards i've seen alero's are far from "big cars".... i have 4 horses... we haul them behind a 3500 chevy dually with a 8.1 liter engine... and when the horses decide to rooster around it wobbles the whole rig.... i suggest not pulling a horse with an alero... it's not the engine... it's the frame and even the suspension... go find a beater truck... if you have a problem pulling a boat or something with a trailer that's fine but if you have a problem with a horse that compounds the problem....
