the ONLY thing I had to do as far as protection goes is ONE zip tie to hold one wire loomed bundle out of the way...that was it...took 30 seconds....other than that I did not have to wrap a single wire in heat sleeving or anything like that....maybe I just had a good install but mine was absolutely trouble free...thankfully!
Jabartram, I would definitly get that front header replaced! Hell you paid almost if not $1000 for TOG headers...and for something like that to go wrong, that's outrageous! It may not leak now but over time and w/ temperature changes, things will expand/contract and a leak will develop I can pretty much promise you that! I am sorry to hear bout that defect though. Shoulda gone w/ S&S

That means S&S has no compitetion now, so they can price their headers as high as they want.

so yeah...finally got these in after taking it to a shop. they said they were a 1/4" off. a little heating a tugging finally got them into place i guess. they were also good enough not to crack the coating...thank god. sorry ... no dyno numbers yet

Road trip to San Antonio! It's only a couple hours or so from you....and I'm sure there's one in town. (research first)

All of you sound decently happy with your particular brand of headers. Is there any specific brand/combination of exhaust parts that would produce the best result? (not too much noise, not too expensive)

maybe san antonio, or houston yeah, i'm gonna wait till i get my manifolds done first, but here in town no dyno's, the one we had, i saw an RSX produce 425 hp to the wheels and i at that time produced 150, was a sad day.
