What i thought was going to be a rainy slippery day in Joliet today turned out to be a great day today. My best time of the day was a 59.9, not sure what it indexes to compared to everyone. But i think i ended up in the top 3 in my class. Best part of the day was after my first run i ran a 62.2 (which was good compared to what everyone was running) The announcer, becuase i was in alero, was like WOW thats quite an accomplishment. So that was kinda cool and then i went 3 seconds better. Here's a few pictures from the day.

I forgot to mention, usually they allow us to use window chalk to write our numbers on our windows with. But today they wouldnt and i dont have magnetic numbers so i had to go ghetto and use the masking tape.

There were like 2 or 3 preludes, an RSX (driver wasn't very good), lol an escort zx2, and some old VW. Those were all in my class.Best time in my class was a 47 i believe. Other than that there were probably 10 S2000's, 5 350z's, 5 mustangs, some mini's, 4 lotus elise's, a lotus exigee. And some other stuff to. It was a great time. It was my first time doing it in chicago and there was double the car that there normally are when i go to rantoul. I was really happy with how i did. Once i get the new KYB AGX's i'll be able to do even better. I was in the STS class but i think that was wrong...i think im supposed to be in a lower class. The class system still has me all confused some im gonna send some e-mails to people and have them help me out.

Actually, you would be in an even higher class than STS if they paid attention to your 235 tires. Usually the limit in STS is 225.

Will you be going to the Cendiv event in Rantoul? I may be going there with a friend of mine.

Im not sure what the date is on that event in Rantoul but i will probably be there, thats where i go most of the time. I think that the tires are okay actually...i could be wrong though. I dont think anyone will care though, it's just an alero so im already at a disadvantage no matter what class im in.
