Talking

Well my first phase in tricking out my ride was to completely upgrade the audio system to a full 4 way system (highs, mids, midlows, and lows)... 8)

So the system... I've custom built a (Multiple Driver) dual sub enclosure for my subs: 2 MTX Thunder 7500, Dual 4 ohm 12" Subs. And then to power them I've got a XTA880.2 (880 Watt, 2 Channel (440 @ 2 Ohms x2 Channel)) Soundstream Amplifier.

And all I gotta say, is these guys make my car go boom!

The next step is 2 add my new Pioneer Headunit and to add on-to the trunk sytem.

Full 4 way? ^_^
Do tell, did you use a 4 way component set or are you running 4 way active?

Good amp choice for the subs!

Yeah, soundstream's nice ^^''

Well right now the interior is component 3-way (low-mid, high-mid, high) + the subs. (I added 2 small tweeters for the highs in those little boxes inside of the mirror, on the passenger and driver doors.)

Very soon though, I'm upgrading all the speakers and powering them off a soundstream amp I got sittin in my closet... so then full 4-way

Oh! The trunk is kinda a seperate system... It'll be full ( :P ) 4 way active. With the subs, 2 lowmid and 2 high range speakers/tweeters (mounted on the trunk lid it'self), and then 2 horn drivers with horns mounted in there too for mid and high range... it's gonna be nice. eace:

It's just [3/4in] MDF.

I'm planning on fiberglassing everything in and creating a clear plexiglass case for the amp, so it'll be more intresting shortly.
