yeah it was 300 for the deck.......200 for the batt.......200 for the amp.....300 for the subs in the box....550 for the other amp....and 300 for the complete wiring kit....that means 4 AWG powerwire from the alt. to the batt. a 150 amp ANL fuse and holder, and three sets of directed pro rca cables

What kind of wire did you buy that costs $300? And 150 amps on a 4 guage wire is way too much. 125 amps at the max and that's pushing it

ok from the alt. to my second batt.....and for the ground it is jl 4 awg=$3 per foot for 20 ft....3 sets of directed audio pro rca's (as seen on "pimp my ride") that are 40 bucks a piece....an ANL fuse holder (50 bucks) and the ANL 150 amp fuse (8 bucks)......and gold connectors all the way around (about 45 bucks)......and my extreme amp is 60 amps of current and the eclipse is 80 amps=140 amps.....now that is peak current draw...im not pushing that.....im at maybe 100-120 and my options at the place i bought my inline fuses only had 100 or 150's so i bought the 150.....and by the way jl 4 AWG can handle alot more than 125 kitty amps.....and anyone that is on here dont try to tell me what to do if your not interested dont post

Yeah most people forget about adding wire into their budget... and it can add up quick.

LOL I was doing a system for my breeze with full Stinger HPM stuff.. I was spending 200 bucks in no time flat.

I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just stating to a potential buyer that if they buy it they may want to change the fuse.

Most likely your only pullling about 50-75 amps on your system at full amperage. Your four channel is only rated 75 at max current. If you are running four speakers at four ohms it will only pull 37 at full amperage. Even with low sensitivity speakers and your gains set to the 75 watt rms, you won't get the full wattage. In most cases you were probably running 10 amps off the four channel. Peaking occassionaly at 20. All of this will change with the user, sensitivity of your speakers, music listened to and sound deadening. The main thing is that you will only know when testing your current at full draw with the hardest hitting music you listen to.
