225/60/18 are you sure about the 60? I'm not thinking they're going to work out for you. If they do, your speedo will be off. You need to drop down to 225/40/18 to keep the diameter of the tire the same as stock or close enough where your speedo isn't affected.

uh yeah, to answer your question in short, no they wont fit. If you want a little more meat on your tires without rubbing go with a 235/40 18

yea with 235/40R18's you'll have about a fingers worth of space between the tire and the lower strut mount.

I think he means all makes (ie: ford, chevy, dodge, olds, honda) will not fit a 26" tall tire in the front.

A 225/60-18 tire would be very tall. 225/40-18 is the size you want and yes it will fit as it's the same overalll diameter as your stock tire. It will not rub anything at all and your speedometer will read the same as stock.
